In this month's 'Tip for the Ride' I will discuss and demonstrate establishing a flowing, rhythmic lateral movements in leg-yield and half-pass postures. Often times I see people trying to move their horse sideways by employing unnecessary pressure, and balancing over the very body part that they are asking the horse to move!
