If you have been following our elk-viewing stories for the past 20 years, you may recognize a reference to Scooploop. We have been watching this magnificent Rocky Mt. bull elk grow from a shy 3 or 4 point (totally out shown by Dennis!) to become a bold 7x7 point...the largest bull we have ever seen at this site! Last weekend he was there to greet us, as if to say "Where ya been? I had another great summer out-smarting the hunters and entertaining the ladies"! Here are some pictures from December 17th, 2010.
