Developing Engagement with Ground Poles

With what has been a crazy first few months of 2012, I am happy to present the March 'Tip for the Ride'.  This month I have been working with our Continuing Horse Course folks working towards balanced lead changes and rhythmic canter work.  It's been great fun, as we have employed the use of ground poles to help us to understand the importance of engagement.  The 'Tip for the Ride' gives you just one example of how some ground work and then riding with focus over of ground poles can develop focus and greater engagement for the horse and rider.  Click here to check out: Developing Engagement
